WOMEN’S HEALTH AWARENESS DAY JANUARY 14 LaPorte Hospital's Women's Center is hosting a Women's Health Awareness Day on Wednesday. January 14, from 10:00 a.m. • 6:00 p.m. The Women's Center is located at 1201 State Mammography and bone densitometry screenings can be scheduled for that day through the Women's Center. Kenneth D. Shively, M.D., will be at the Center to sign orders for the screenings, enabling women who do not have personal physicians to participate. The Women's Center staff will assist women with physician referrals for the test results. Visitors are invited to tour the Center; view videotapes on mammomgraphy. osterporosis. and other women’s issues; enjoy refreshments and receive free breast self-exam kits. Staff members will also be available to answer questions and make referrals concerning women's health problems.
