Salvation Army Kettle Drive For 1986 Is Successful The Walkerton Salvation Army 1986 kettle drive ended Saturday with a very successful campaign taking in a total of 5955.87 for the three Saturday period. The Walkerton American Legion Post 189 manned the kettles on Saturday and which resulted in $409.70 being dropped in the two kettles by the public. The Salvation Army committee again would like to thank everyone who donated to their drive, the onlv fund raising of the local committee each year. Also the members of the various organizations that rang the bells make all of this possible. Thanks to members of the Walkerton Chamber of Commerce, Walkerton Jaycees, Epsilon Chi Tri Kappa chapter, Walkerton Lions Club and American Legion Post 189. KOONTZ LAKE LIBRARY CLOSED FOR HOLIDAYS The Koontz Lake Library will be closed Wednesday and Thursday, December 24 and 25, and also on Wednesday and Thursday, December 31 and January 1.
