List Christmas Decorating Contest Winners The North Liberty Chamber of Commerce sponsored a Christmas Decorating contest with the winners being selected by the eighth grade art students at the North Liberty School. On December 20 the students toured the town and made the final decision. First place winner for the North Liberty businesses was Sue’s Flower Shop, at 135 N. Main Street, and second place was Dr. Kerry Knape, D.D.S., at 110 N. Main Street. First place for residential decorations was awarded to Bruce Salyer, 204 Sylvia Dr., and second place to John Schultz, at 410 N. Lafayette St. First place winners received a check for $50.00 and second place winners were awarded checks in the amount of $25.00. The Chamber wishes to thank the North Liberty businesses and

PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE On Wednesday, December 24th, the Walkerton Presbyterian Church, 512 Georgia Street, will have a Christmas Eve Candlelight Service at 8:30 p.m. E.S.T. One of the special features this year will be the beautiful luminaries outlining the driveway. These luminaries were made by Catherine Theis and Harold Eddinger.
