Gerald and June Bwne, from Bee Realty, recently returned from Hawaii where they attended ten days of real estate and tax seminars. Topics included marketing, financial and the proposed tax law. Mrs. Donald Nicholas is happy that she can he reported home since last Friday. She is not 100 percent well, but glad to be home for the holidays since spending weeks in St. Joseph Medical Center, South Bend. The Koontz Lake Conservation Cub will be the scene for a pot luck supper on Friday evening, with everyone to bring a covered dish. Santa will be present but requests only fun gifts this year. Worthwhile gifts are reserved for the children, poor and needy. There will not be a meeting on Saturday evenings for the next two weeks due to the holdiays. Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Holsinger and family, of Terre Haute; Mr. and Mrs. Mike Corbett and family, Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Whitaker and family, Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Whitaker, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Stull and sons, and Mr. and Mrs. Ted Stull and son. Mrs. John Matousek. of 408 Georgia Street, is a surgical patient in the Michiana Community Hospital. being admitted on Tuesday with surgery on Wednesday. Twenty-five senior citizens of the North Liberty Church of Christ gathered on Tuesday noon, in the church social room, North Liberty, where they enjoyed a delicious Christmas dinner. The tables were beautifully decorated by Lola Pavey, Florence Jones and Helen Neidlinger, who were also in charge of the afternoon program. Christmas carols were sung by the group, a special was sung by Barney Wentz and Stanley Schlemmer. Devotions were given by Mrs. McDaniel and then Santa arrived and gave out presents to all

LISTED AMONG OUTSTANDING YOUNG MEN OF AMERICA Two local young men, Jeff Zehner, Walkerton, and Frank Joseph Ginzer, Jr., Demotte, have been listed by the Board of Advisors for the Outstanding Young Men of America awards program and they will be included in the 1986 edtion of Outstanding Young Men of America. Now in its 24th year, the OYMA program is designed to honor and encourage exceptional young men between the ages of 21 and 36 who have distinguished themselves in may fields of endeavor, such as service to community, professional leadership, academic achievement, business advancement, cultural accomplishments and civic and polit-

ical participation. Achievements in these areas are the result of dedication, responsibility and a drive for excellence — qualities which deserve to be recognized and remembered. The men listed, along with fellow Outstanding Young Men throughout North America, were selected after 150,000 nominations were received frompolitical leaders. University and college officials, clergymen. business leaders as well as from various civic groups and community organizations. Each young man will be represented by his biographical entry in this prestigious annual awards publication. MUSIC DRAMA COMING TO WALKERTON A music drama entitled “The World Alive'' will come to Walkerton on Friday. December 18. It will be the Christmas program for the Walkerton Women’s Aglow with Fellowship beginning at 9:00 p.m. and praise and worship at 9:30.
