Christmas dinner for about 90 Senior Citizens was held at the Pine Creek Church last Tuesday noon, where all enjoyed a delicious meal prepared by several of the women of the church. The afternoon program was by Gladys Sheneman and those who helped her entertain were Violet Wolff and Maxine Worthington. Christmas carols were sung by the group and then joined in by everyone. Mrs. Sheneman read two Christmas poems that were humorous and everyone drew a number from Santa s big boot with prizes going to Bob Herbster. Mrs. Wolff won the guessing the number of things in Santa's other boot. There will be no more get-togethers now until next April. Mr. and Mrs. Gail McDaniel and Mr. and Mrs. John Ross were guests on Monday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Sheneman. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Capron hosted a Thanksgiving Day celebration for her family at their home in Plymouth. Guests were all of the Savoie family including her parents, Leo and Helen Savoie, Jill and Brian. Walkerton; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Loucks and family.
