WHEREAS, Triax Communications Incorporated, does hereby wish to acquire through transfer and assignment, acquisition and control of said Cable TV franchise and said agreements; NOW, THEREFOR. BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Board of Walkerton, Indiana, that: Ordinance Number 1981-7 and said Agreements by hereby amended so as to permit Quality CATV Incorporated to transfer and assign its interest in said Cable TV franchise and said agreements to Triax Communications Incorporated. Passed and Adopted this 24th day of November, 1986. The Resolution was approved on a motion by Gaddis, seconded by Heemer. Margaret Gaddis made a motion to have the corner of Jackson and Michigan Street changed to a four way stop. Ms. Gaddis withdrew her motion after it did not receive a second. Mr. Heemer made a comment on the most recent snow removal. He did not feel the intersections were maintained sufficiently. He would like to see them maintained in a more agressive manner. Margaret Gaddis motioned to accept. Arthur Heemer seconded the motion. The vote: Arthur Heemer, yes Margaret Gaddis, yes Gregory Williams, yes Clifford Ward, yes The president of the Board informed the others that John Courtney, electrical engineer from Sawvel and Associates would probably be present at the next scheduled board meeting to explain how a rebate will be handled. Claims 1347 to 1411 were approved on a motion by Heemer, seconded by Ward.
