The Falcons were led in scoring by Stacy Hardesty's 22 points, Rick O'Connor had eight followed by John Johnson's six points and Jim Seider had five points. The Falcons strong rebounding was the difference in the game as Urey outrebounded Navarre 35-19. Coach Gary Christlieb noted, "the team did well for the first game, but there is a lot of room for improvement. Our free throw shooting was very poor as well as our team defense”. Also noted the play of Brian Norris. "Norris played good solid defense and did the little things that we had to have to win", according to Christlieb. The 7th grade lost 22-11. Dennis Kaiser led the team with five points. Urey’s next game is on December 1. against New Prairie. Not all conservation efforts are in the wild The peregrine falcon, an endangered species, was introduced successfully into several cities in the U.S., where it could nest on building ledges and prey on the large pigeon population.
