9-15 and 2-15. The team served 83 percent accuracy. On October 1 they played Mishawaka Young winning by scores of 15-9, 12-15 and 15-8. Lisa Rozwarski served 85 percent accuracy scoring nine points in the first game. Missy Hawley served 90 percent accuracy and Michele Knepp also had 90 perenet accuracy. Sabrina Savey did a fine job at the net defensively and Tracie Malstaff returned several hard spikes for the Falcons. The Falcons played super team ball using three hits consistently and executing well. This moved the team record to one win and two losses. On October 6 the team lost to Mishawaka Beiger 15-6 and 15-6. The Falcons served 84 percent accuracy as a team. Rachelle Snell. Missy Hawley and Michele Knepp served 100 percent accuracy. Knepp played a fantastic game at the net defensively. The Beiger team was a very talented squad and the Falcons played well and had some long volleys. This now puts the record at one win and three losses. GLENN LOSES THREE VOLLEYBALL MATCHES The Glenn girls dropped three volleyball matches in the past week to Plymouth. LaPorte and Northern State Conference opponent Knox. Plymouth Wins Easily The Plymouth team, a runner-up in the state the last two seasons, easily defeated Glenn 15-3 and 15-5. For Glenn the team served 95 percent accuracy; Tammy Rupel and Tammy Osborn had two kills each; Mindy Salyer led in passes with 14; and Michele Mlekodaj had 18 sets. Plymouth's record moved to 20-2 with the victory. The B Team also lost to Plymouth by scores of 15-10 and 15-9. Julie Beem had 8 for 8 serving, Kim Huizenga had two kills. The team serving accuracy was 97.3%, Amy Kaser had four kills, Mindy Salyer 17 passes and Ingrid Boise had 44 sets. The B-Team also was beaten by scores of 15-1 and 15-13. Lyn Wallace, Becky Fair and Karen Schmidt all had 100% serving accuracy. Lyn Wallace two kills. Bobbi Kaser the most passes. Dawn Gorby the best passing average and July Beem led in sets with 14. On Monday, Knox visited and took a conference match by scores of 15-13 and 15-13. Ingrid Boise had a perfect 7 of 7 serving, she had 5 kills and the most sets, 22. Mindy Salyer had 14 passes for Glenn, now 4-8 on the season and 1 -2 in conference play. The B-Team won by scores of 15-5 and 15-9 over Knox. Lyn Wallace had 100% serving accuracy and the most passes. Julie Beem had 5 kills and 11 sets to led in those categories. The B-Team record now stands at 9-6 while Knox slipped to 5-14.
