TOWN BOARD MINUTES (continued from page 1) Walkerton to do is file all the tariffs with the PSC and pay a charged of $2,829.24 to the Public Service Commission for their services. Ed Bracich made a motion to pay the claim of $2,829.24. Cliff Ward seconded the motion and all agreed. The tariffs have been filed and it appears that by the next billing period (May 1, 1986) the new rates will be in effect. CITIZEN INPUT: Mr. Roy Wilcox wished to inform the people of the long drawn out procedure of getting decreased rates through the Public Service Commission. Mr. Wilcox has worked on the Utility Board set up by the president of the Town Board and knows that a lot of effort was put into the study of the decreased rates. He feels that the Town Board has been blamed unjustly for the long delay in acquiring these new rates. It was noted that the Public Service Commission misplaced the Walkerton file which lead to an even longer delay than usual. Mr. Wilcox also commented on the expense of doing a study: $30,000 and $2,929.24 to the PSC for their services. He said he hopes that the people seriously consider pulling out of the Public Service Commission. It was reported that the fire hydrant next to the Baptist Church was replaced. The claims were approved on a motion by Bracich, seconded by Ward. With no further business to come before the Board the meeting adjourned on a motion by Heemer and seconded by Gaddis.
