fifth straight year and paired them with a very good Argos team making their first appearance in the final game of this holiday meet since thc«r glory years of the late 70’s and very early 80’s. Argos was a 60-45 victor over the host Culver team in the first game. With the victory, coach Gordon Mosson's Falcons evened their record at 3-3 for the year and Triton slipped to 0-6 behind first year coach Doug Snyder, a former Argos standout player. The Falcons jumped to the lead
early and managed to pull ahead by 16-11 after one quarter. They then made a move that increased their lead to 30-15 just past the middle mark of the second period. Despite Triton's closing with the last seven points of the quarter while Glenn went scoreless, it was still a safe 30-22 margin at the main intermission. The Falcons, after their slow finish in the first half, came out just the opposite as the second half began. In the third period they scorched the nets for an 11 out of 12 shooting performance from the floor and added three free throws to blow it wide open and hold a huge 55-28 advantage after three quarters. Very little went wrong in this eight minute and allowed coach Mosson the freedom of using his bench freely in the final stanza. They moved on to the final margin of 22 points, 72-50. For Glenn it was again a nicely balanced attack. Troy Skiles led all scorers with 21 on 10 baskets and one of two from the charity line. He had great double figure help from Wes Pavey with 16. all from the floor, and 10 points each by Chris Savoie and Brian Groves. In all eight players shared the scoring for Glenn. Triton was led by Troy Heisler with 15 while Todd Watkins added 11.
