The business meeting was called to order at 1:30 p.m. The secretary and treasurer reports were given and approved. Roll call was answered with where do you hide Christmas presents. The members voted not to hold a meeting in January and February. The next meeting will be on March 11. at 12:30 p.m. C.S.T. Following the close of the meeting a gift exchange was held during the social hour. Card bingo was played with many lovely gifts provided by the hostesses. Everyone left wishing each other a very Happy Holidays. CUB SCOUT NEWS Walkerton Cub Scout Pack 293 held their Christmas party on the evening of December 19 with Christmas carols and Santa high-

lighting the evening. Cubmaster Kevin Jacobs directed the boys through a candlelight ceremony for the month’s theme “ Follows-Helps-Gives”, Wolff badges were presented to six scouts. Craig Rogge-hulse, Chris Jacobs. B. J. Morgan. Cory Shively. Brian Ross and Ryan Schmeltz. Also a Bobcat badge was presented to Ted Holland, our newest scout. Santa arrived while carols were being sung and all boys received their Pinewood Derby kits. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Morgan were responsible for our entertainment until Santa arrived. An enjoyable time was had by all. The next pack meeting will be on January 30. STAY/BYS SUPPORT GROUP TO MEET JANUARY 15 The Stay/Bys Support Group is having its meeting on Wednesday, January 15, at 7:00 p.m., in Room 319 of the Angela Building. 410 North Notre Dame Avenue, South Bend.
