Loretta Traversa Named D.A.R. Good Citizen i u Loretta Traversa, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Traversa, has been chosen by the faculty of John Glenn High School as this year’s D.A.R. Good Citizen. Loretta was selected as the senior who. to an outstanding degree. possesses the qualities of dependability, leadership, service and patriotism. She will compete with other students from area schools on November 16. The area winner will be eligible for state

competition. Loretta is the president of the John Glenn Chapter of National Honor Society. As an active member of the Student Council for four years, she was treasurer her junior year and is its current president. Loretta has been in Future Farmers of America for four years and was secretary her sophomore year and president as a junior. She was also on the junior class board of directors and treasurer for Sunshine Society. Loretta has been a three year participant in the school’s literary magazine, the Aerial. This year she is vice president of her local 4-H Club, of which she has been a member for eight years. Loretta is a member of St. Michael’s Church. Loretta plans to attend Purdue University where she will pursue a veterinarian technology major.
