Copy of petition is attached to minutes. Attorney Peddycord stated the plan did not meet the codes of the Town and no further action has been taken by Mr. Kaser at this time. Attorney Peddycord presented petition for voluntary annexation of land on S. State St with 51 % of the owners signature. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ginzer opposed, stating they wish to remain just as their properties are zoned now. Motion to accept Voluntary Annexation Ordinance #1985-9 made by Scott King, seconded by Tom Daughterly with unanimous aye vote. Attorney Peddycord then presented proposed petition for rezoning of the annexed property and to be referred to the Area Plan Commission for hearing on December 17. 1985, for public hearing. Motion to execute Amendment Rezoning Ordinance #1985-10 by Scott King, seconded by Lyle McCormick with unanimous aye vote. After discussion of requiring pick-up truck, motion by Scott King to purchase 1978 Ford truck from Loy Shoemaker for 53.500.00. paid from Sewer Department, seconded by Thomas Daugherty, not to exceed $3,500.00, with unanimous aye vote. Dump truck repair discussion: Quotes of SSOO plus to repair cab. and $1,794.26 to repair brakes, checking on contracting for snow removal or possible lease-purchase options. Marshal Bliley stated no, but has one year to obtain certification.
