FALL FESTIVAL
"Ti 0 Food galore was found at the festival with the people lined up here waiting for egg rolls and beef or pork sticks, which by the way, were delicious. <• * r w- 'yrw z -1 va® .... Saturday was a busy day with the WIN drawings being held every half hour in the downtown area of the Fall Festival with 18 different ones being held. Shown here is Mrs. Linda Davis drawing out the winners of the American State Bank, Koontz Lake, box, for two $50.00 U. S. Savings Bonds. The winners were Zella Schafer, Route 1, Walkerton, and Claudia Corbett, Portage. In the background you can see that even though the skies looked threatening, the people of the area still supported the festival. The light poles were decorated with corn stalks, pumpkins and mums to give a festive look to the downtown, by Burket’s Farm. Serving on the festival committee that was chaired this year by Mrs. Ruth Knowlton, were Betty King, Nedra Williams and Myrna Daube. * —.F r'~r "T” ' ’ I Mfer H gB - I /111 \ ' x.
