WALKERTON VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPT. LADIES AUXILIARY MEETS The Ladies Auxiliary of the Walkerton Volunteer Firemen met on Tuesday evening at the fire station with 13 present. Mickey Wolfenbarger, announced the new officers for 198586 as follows: Linda Awald, president; Kathy McKesson, vice-presi-dent; Judy McGovern, secretarytreasurer; and Mary Hahn, chaplin. A bouquet of fall flowers brought by Diane Viehe was awarded to Mickey Wolfenbarger as the door prize. A committee for the Christmas party was formed with Valerie Paschen, Kathy McKesson, Bev Williams, Linda Truhler and Mickey Wolfenbarger serving. The party will be held on Saturday, December 7. The group will also be selling firemen calendars and if you would like one contact any of the auxiliary members. Fire chief, Larry Dill, and day assistant chief, Dick Awald, dropped in at the meeting with a red rose for all the ladies present which was a surprise. This also marked the 10th anniversary of the auxiliary. The next meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. At Welco on November 19, in honor of the new officers.
