Earnings for the second quarter also were up, posting an increase of 20% over the second quarter of 1984. Christopher J. Murphy, president, said net income totaled $2.9 million or $.89 per common share during the first six months of 1985. This compares to $2.2 million or $.75 per common share for the same period of 1984. Second quarter income totaled $1.6 million with earnings per share of $.52. This compares to $1.3 million and $.43 respectively for the second quarter of 1984. The earnings per share results have been adjusted to reflect the 10% common stock dividend declared by the board of directors on January 28. 1985. Total assets of Ist Source Corporation of June 30, 1985 were $835.7 million, total deposits were $683.5 million, net loans were $550.0 million and shareholders equity totaled $49.1 million. Ist Source Corporation common stock is traded on the NASDAQ system with daily quotations listed on the National Market System and in many daily newspapers.
