William, Albert and Dorothea Brenner spent two weeks in Colorado visiting with William’s son. Charles, in Glenwood Springs. While there they spent some time in Aspen and Red Rock. Then they visited with William's son. William, Jr., in Fort Collins, where they met a future member of the family, a granddaughter’s fiance, and a February wedding is being planned. Mrs. Polly Klopfenstein returned home this past week from a trip to Eugene, Oregon, where she attended the U.S.S. Enterprise-LV-6 reunion, which is held every two years, with members coming from all over the United States. Mrs. Klopfenstein is treasurer of the group. The next reunion will be in Arlington, Texas, in 1987, which she is planning on attending. One day last week Rev. John Goodpasture had the pleasure of having two members of the church he served at Gary visit with him and they were Mrs. Edna Zeise, of Lafayette, and Mrs. Nita Smock, of Hebron. Air Force Base, Marquette, Michigan. and Mr. Tom Houser and friend, of LaPaz, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Danny Fisher and son, in North Liberty, for a cookout with a corn roast. Mr. and Mrs. Myron Mullet, Wilbur and Melanie Mullet, all of Walkerton, Mrs. Helana Rosengard and Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Rosengard and family, of Homewood, Illinois, were Tuesday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Merrick and Rose Marie, in South Bend. In the afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Homer Mullet and Mrs. Allen Hecht and daughter, of Westville, joined the group. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Knowlton and Danny Knowlton visited with Mr. and Mrs. Carl Delaney and family, in Lafayette, Thursday and Friday. They also visited with Mrs. Mary Delaney who is in the Regency Nursing Home and Mrs. Neta Lute, a former Walkerton resident. Mr. and Mrs. Leigh Roy Hahn, Jr. and Sr. and their families, camped at the AOK Camp Grounds over the weekend, returning to their homes late on Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Urbin attended a dinner for the Metgzer cousins at Shenanigan’s restaurant in Rochester on Saturday evening. There were 15 present coming from Monticello, Granger, South Bend, Walkerton, Logansport and Rochester. Mr. and Mrs. Herman Henry are leaving on Friday for their home in Tavares, Florida, after spending a couple ot months in Indiana. Mr. and Mrs. Doug Baker and Mrs. Vylet Baker were Sunday afternoon and evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Baker and son, in Bremen.
