Mr. and Mrs. Robert Barton, of Crawfordsville, were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Thomas and called on Mr. and Mrs. Orville Klinedinst. Mr. Barton was a band teacher in the Walkerton School. Mr. Gerald Ream, of Fort Wayne, was a caller of the Klinedinsts on Tuesday of last week. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Beagles entertained on Sunday with a birthday dinner for their son, Norman Beagles. Other guests were Joan and Scott Beagles, Tim Beagles and Kelly Everman and son, of North Liberty, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Hellinga. Bowman, of Koontz Lake, attended his 50th college class reunion, at Park College, Parkville. Missouri. It proved to be an exhilarating experience over a three day period. Then on to Parker, Colorado, to visit with their daughter and family. The return trip included two days at a friend’s home in Council Bluffs, lowa, where he pastored for 15 years, and then home. Fran Sohn, Marj Morrey, Selma Pry, Mary Steinhart. Frieda Onika and Lucille Dickson spent a lovely evening last Wednesday, with dinner and then on to the Playhouse in Warsaw to see “Pajama Game ”. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Dipert, of Koontz Lake, had as their guests for five days, her brother and sis-ter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Gross, of Mountain Home, Arkansas. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Minter were Sunday evening visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Hineline, in Chesterton. Mrs. Hineline is the former Mrs. Stub Northam. JEFF CRIPE RANKED FOURTH IN CLASS Jeff Cripe, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cripe, Chicago, Illinois, ranked number four in the 1985 graduating class of Morgan Park High School. Jeff had a grade point average of 4.7262. He is a member of the National Honor Society and is an Illinois State Scholar. His father is a 1960 graduate of Walkerton High School. Jeff also played the piano at the graduation ceremonies. Jeff was on the freshman-sopho-more track team and was captain in his sophomore year. He is a member of Acapella. He plans on attending the University of Illinois, at Urbana and will major in aeronautical engineering or in computer science. He would like to become an aeronautical engineer in the future. FINCH-REAMER REUNION I The 46th annual Finch-Reamer family reunion was held on Sunday, June 30, in Liberty Park, North • Liberty, with 30 present. The weather was ideal.

The bountiful pot luck dinner was delicious as usual. Dwain Hall gave the blessing. Election of officers for the coming year was held with Frank Rokosz, Whiting, president; Emmett Clarke, Koontz Lake, vicepresident; Debby Rokosz, secre-tary-treasurer. Florence Finch, Angola, was the eldest guest and she was celebrating her 98th birthday. Patricia Cross, six months old, Dolton, Illinois, was the youngest present. The guest that came the farthest was John Coats, of Kalamazoo, Michigan. Games were played by the children and the grown ups did a lot of visiting. We all enjoyed being back in Liberty Park. ENGAGED Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Estep, of Rolling Prairie, announce the forthcoming wedding of their daughter, Rashelle Rae, to Charles (Chip) Spriggs, of North Liberty. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Spriggs, North Liberty. The bride-to-be is a junior at New Prairie High School and her fiance recently graduated from the Great Lakes Naval Training Station and is currently receiving further training at the Naval Air Station, in Millington, Tennessee. It was voted to order Tshirts with the club name on them and the trip on July 3 was finalized to Indiana Beach. A club picnic is being planned for September 8, at Culver.
