Ist Source Bank Merger With MARCO Approved The merger of Ist Source Corporation, parent company of Ist Source Bank, and MARCO Capital Corporation, parent of Ist Source Bank Marshall County, was approved by Ist Source shareholders at the corporation's annual meeting in Century Center. Ist Source, largest financial institutioin in North Central Indiana, and MARCO previously had agreed in principal to merge if Indiana banking laws were changed to permit cross-county banking. The changes were enacted by the 1985 Indiana General Assembly and will go into effect July 1. Ist Source Bank Marshall County has offices in Plymouth, Bremen and Argos and is the largest financial institution in Marshall County with more than SISO million in assets. “We are very excited that our shareholders recognized the beneficial impact this merger can have on Ist Source and the expanded services that will be available throughout the two county area,” said Ernestine M. Raclin, chairman of Ist Source. “Marshall County is part of our natural market area and locking arms with Ist Source Bank Marshall County substantially strengthens the position of both banks.” Shareholder also re-elected the

It was commissioned by Ist Source to be added to the corporate art collection and will be on permanent display in the bank’s executive reception area on the fourth floor of Ist Source Center. The corporate collection features paint-
ings, prints and quilts from local, regional and national artists. Ist Sources Corporation’s common shares are listed on the NASDAQ electronic communication system, under the symbol “SRCE” and in many daily newspapers liste as "Ist SOURCE”.
