Kathy Ann Rohrer and Ollie James Frazier were united in marriage on Saturday, October 13, at 3:30 p.m., at the United Methodist Church. Walkerton, with Rev. Chester Mayflower and Rev. David Ownen, of Indianapolis, officiating at the double-ring ceremony. Soloists were Sharon Klinedinst, Walkerton, and John Hartsough, South Bend. Accompanist was Sherry Klinedinst, Bloomington. Groomsmen were Dan Awald. Barry Heim, Rob Moore, all of Walkerton, and Rudy Schlager, Phoenix, Arizona. Ushers were Wendell Rohrer. Muncie, Ken Rohrer, Chicago, brothers of the bride, Gary Downey. Montgomery. Illinois, and Quinn Hochstetler. Walkerton. The bride was given in marriage by her father and she chose a white gown featuring a cathedral train, with a high neckline of lace. A reception followed at Ancilla Domini College auditorium. Donaldson. with music being provided by Music Machine disc jockey, Osceola. The couple enjoyed a honeymoon in Freeport. Bahamas and are now at home at Rural Route 5, Box 271, Walkerton. Guests came from Arizona, California, Kansas, Illinois, Maryland and Indiana. Business Women Enjoy Dinner And Christmas Preview Forty-one members of the Walkerton Business and Professional Women’s Club met on Thursday evening. November 15, at Pat’s Bar. LaPaz, for their monthly meeting. Following the meal and a short business session, the group enjoyed a sneak preview of the Christmas Open House at the Antique Mall, in LaPaz. Chairperson for the evening was Dixie Anspaugh and serving on the committee were Barbara Skiles, Myrlnn Bella, Judy Hiler, Mary Ann Frame. Valerie Paschen. Audrey Reed. Patty Koch. Vada Stull. Bette Wolfenbarger. Paula Patterson, Maggie Gaddis, Ann Denaut and Jean Cole.

Members enjoyed either chicken, fish or ribs for dinner served with a choice of potato and salad bar. Guests present were Marty Malstaff, Ann Zumbaugh, Carol Foster and Martha Mull's sister-in-law. Those feeding the birthday pig were Myrna Daube, Jo Ellen Stevens. Marie Howell. Marg Buswell and Rose Minter. Marie Howell won the prize. Karen Johnson, ways and means chairman, stated that all money and tickets must be turned in at the December meeting on the afghan. Discussion was held on the replacing of the sign east of town of the club and the work is to be done by Paula Patterson. If you have any designs or suggestions contact Paula. Door prizes were won by Marg Buswell and Ann Koch. The $15.00 gift certificate from A' Homestead Shoppe was won by Rose Minter. The next meeting wil be on December 20 with Linda Relos as chairperson.
