June Lind took high scratch and high handicap game with a 149 and 227 respectively. Helen Bowman came right back this week to take high scratch series honors. Your handicap is really coming down. Helen. High scratch, high handicap and high scratch series honors went to Harold Schweder with a 221, 248 and 533 respectively. Frank Pos niak had a nice 197 scratch game also. Keep the pins flying fellows' We were glad to welcome Erika to the ladies group of bowlers and competitors. Come on out all you seniors and meet Enka and the rest of the “regulars” for an afternoon of fun and exercise. PROJECT SAFE APPLICATIONS TO BE TAKEN IN WALKERTON Project SAFE applications will be taken in the Town Council room on Wednesday, November 28, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Applicants will need to bring verification of in come (letter from employer, payroll check stubs, copy of award letter), social secutiry cards, rental infor mation and proof of age. If you are a renter in non-subsidized housing and your utilities arc included in your rent, you will need to stop by the Gerk-Treasurer’s Office before the 28th and pick up an affidavit to have filled out by your landlord and notarized before your appointment The Project SAFE application pro cess will only be in Walkerton this one day. If you do not fill out your application here on that day, you will have to drive to South Bend to complete the application process For Project SAFE applicants over the age of 60, the Walkerton Clerk Treasurer’s office can take your ap plication at any time, this applica tion day is only for those applicants under 60. Please sign up for an application time at the Walkerton Clerk-Treas urer’s office before the 28th. Thank you.
