H Mi ■ DENA RAE SCHAAFSMA Dena Rae Schaafsma is s’B" tall and has reddish brown hair and green eyes. She is the daughter of Bernard and Sharon Meadway, Hamlet, and attends Oregon-Davis High School. She will be doing a dance for the talent portion of the pageant. She plans on going into elementary education. She enjoys baseball, basketball and jogging. She is a member of the gymnastics team, Bobettes and was a member of the Pep Club. Foreign Language Club, drama club and track team. Ww vW ■ jw LISA ANN PARKER Lisa Ann Parker, daughter of Richard and Linda Parker. Walk erton, has brown hair, blue eyes and is 5’7" tall. She plans on be coming a doctor or veterinarian and to attend Indiana University or Purdue. She will be singing for the creative arts portion of the pageant. She is a member of the National Honor Society. Sunshine Society, church youth president and is a member of the volleyball and tennis teams and is a 4 H member. She was on the basketball team for three years. She enjoys sports, outdoor activities, fishing. sewing, cooking and doing craft projects. She received high achievement honors in history and chemistry and was a delegate to the United Nations through 10.0 F

She has black hair, brown eyes and stands 5’2” tall. She is a member of the Sunshine Society, 4-H and is an honor roll student. She enjoys writing letters to pen pals, basketball. tennis, roller skating, water skiing, skateboarding, typing, collecting horses and foreign language. Lakeville. is s'2‘ i" tall and has auburn hair and brown eyes. She attends LaVille High School where she is a member of the speech club. Fellowship of Christian Athletes, l-rench Club, cheerleader as a freshman and a member of the homecoming court. She enjoys calligraphy. sketching, writing, work ing with children and volleyball, softball and public speaking. She will be giving a poetry interpreta tion of "Little Orphan Annie" for the creative and performing arts portion of the pageant. She plans on attending Bethel College and going into the special elementary education field.

* ■ xJWeB LORI DEE BERNDT Lori Dee Berndt, a student at Or-egon-Davis High School, will be playing her clarinet for the talent portion of the pageant. She is the daughter of James and PeggyBerndt. Hamlet. She plans on attending Purdue University and enjoys volleyball, gymnastics, track, photography, water skiing and playing her clarinet, saxophone and flute. She is a member of the Foreign Language Club, cheerleader, honor band, received a track award. 12 gold medals for band with her clarinet, Who’s Who National Leadership national honor roll, pep club and a class officer.

She is a 4-H Junior Leader, a member of the French Club. Math Club and Science Club and has been named to Who's Who in foreign languages. honor society president and enjoys band, pep club and is the rifle captain of the Pom Pon group. She will be doing a rifle routine for the talent portion of the pageant.
