16 CONTESTANTS VIE FOR WALKERTON AREA JUNIOR MISS TITLE
There arc lb young ladies competing m the 1984-85 Walkerton Area Junior Miss Pageant to be held on Thursday. Nosember 15. and Saturday November 1”. at the John Glenn High School auditorium. The pageant w ill begin each evening at "JO p.m. and the annual affair is sponsored by the Walkerton Jaycees. Spotlighting each of the the girls is as follow s: & I I Jx > KENDELL JEAN CLINGENPEEL Kendell Jean Clingcnpeel is 5’6” tall with blonde hair and blue green eyes. She plans on becoming a lawyer and attending Purdue. She will be playing the piano for the talent portion of the pageant. She is a memeber of the newspaper staff at John Glenn where she is presently the editor, a member of the concert choir, swing and was a member of the auxiliary corps, drama club, band. jazz ensemble and was the international Wesleyan Bible Bowl quiz champion in 1982. She enjoys running, swimming. performing music on the piano and singing as well as aerobics and sailing.

II I MARY ELLEN SEABAUGH Mary Ellen Seabaugh, a student at John Glenn High School, is 5'6” with brown hair and brown eyes. She is the daughter of Darel Frazier and Judy Frazier. Her career ambition is to become a social workermusic composer and she plans to attend Indiana State. She is a member of the Swing Choir, Sunshine Society and the newspaper staff at school. She enjoys playing the guitar, piano and watching the Cubs play baseball. For the creative and performing arts portion of the pageant she will play her guitar and sing the song, ‘‘You Died For Me", which she has composed. O' *** I< > / CHERYL CHRISTINE COLE Cheryl Christine Cole, daughter of Raymond and Barbara Cole, Tyner, is a student at John Glenn High School w here she is a member of the marching band, swing choir, listed among Who’s Who of American High School Students as a junior and the Calvary Lutheran Youth Group. She enjoys crocheting. singing and playing the tuba. She will be singing "Over The Rainbow” for the talent portion of the pageant. She would like to become a mathematics teacher and attend Ball State.
r DENISE ANN KIZER Denise Ann Kizer, daughter of James and Delores Cooper. Lakeville, stands 5'6” tall and has brown hair and hazel eyes. She attends LaVille High School and plans to become a junior accountant and to attend Ivy Tech. She enjoys singing, dancing, horseback riding, reading, typing, running and swimming. She is a member of the Spanish Club, journalism club, choir and a member of the girls track team. She will be dancing to ‘‘Cruel Summer” for the creative and performing arts portion of the pageant. She attends John Glenn High School where she is a cheerleader, track member, varsity club drama club, on the student council, a 4-H Junior Leader, attended national dairy conference, national cheerleading competition, state fair girls school, round-up and animal science conference. She is the daughter of Gale and Sharon Lowry, Plymouth. She enjoys dancing, weight lifting, gymnastics, jogging. sewing and all sports. She will be dancing and a gymnastics routine to the music from ‘‘Fame”. She plans on joining either the Air Force or the U. S. Army. + Keep Red C ross ready. She is the daughter of Ronnie Drake and Mrs. Ronald (Betty) Berton. She has brown hair and eyes and stands 5’6” tall. She is a member of the choir, Sunshine Society and has been six years in 4-H. She enjoys horseback riding, softball, walking, singing and playing the piano and dancing. She plans to become a cosmetologist and attend Vincennes University. (r-w I w L H lb 4" SHERRI ANN LIVELY Sherri Ann Lively, daughter of Kenny and Judi Markley, Lakeville, a student at LaVille High School, plans on becoming a journalist. She will be dancing for the creative arts portion of the pageant. She is a member of the French Club, Pep Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Science Club, yearbook editor and was a cheerleader for three years. She enjoys horseback riding, sewing, dancing, playing the organ, writing and is a Sunday School teacher. She was listed among Who’s Who Among American High School Students. She has brunette hair, blue eyes and is s’B” tall.

pi KELLI SUE KELLER Kelli Sue Keller, daughter of Daniel and Sharon Keller, Rural Route 2, Hamlet, is a student at Oregon-Davis High School. She has black hair and green eyes and stands s’7‘Za” tall. She plans on becoming a radio broadcaster and to attend Indiana State University. She is a member of the Student Council, Sunshine Society, Foreign Language Club. FHA, drama club and served as co-editor of the school newspaper in her junior year. She enjoys drawing and photography. Walkerton. She has Mauk hair, dark brown eyes and is r ? tall. She plans on becoming a secretary and attend lUSB. She is a member of the choir and is president this year; a 4-H member of roundup and attended Indiana Girls State Fair School. She was a member of the track team when she was a sophomore. She will be singing for the talent portion of the pageant.
