Moravek. George Behnke, Ray t Vasil, Victor Schmidt and Al Brenner. The men sang their way around the U. S. starting with ' ’’America”, "Sidewalks Os New York", "My Merry Oldsmobile", I "Away Down South In Dixie", Cal- " California Here I Come", and finally "Back Home Again In IndiI ana”. A skit followed the sumptious dinner served in the dining room of the club. Evelyn Schmidt introduced the "family” who were going to take a drive on a Sunday afternoon, Philip Waldron was "Papa”; Fran Sohn was “Mama”; Marjory Curl was the little girl and Bob Bowman was the little boy "Johnny”. The "children” came complete with snake and spider for teasing and of course Marjory had a huge sucker on a stick to complete her little girl look. They climbed into a mock-up of an old car and took off with Mama as back seat driver, and provided lots of
laughter for the diners. The evening was completed with Ed Moravek leading the group in singing many old songs. Hostesses for the evening included Crystal Lawrence, chairman; Selma Pry, Bernice Lichtenbarger, Josephine Nowakowski. Emily Gryb and Evelyn Schmidt.
