OREGON TOWNSHIP HOME ECONOMICS CLUB TO MEET The Oregon Township Home Economics Club will meet at the Conservation clubhouse on Tuesday, November 13, at 12:30 p.m. C.S.T. New members are welcome. BAKE SALE SATURDAY The annual Koontz Lake Association bake sale will be held at the Conservation club house on Saturday, November 10. starting at 9:00 a.m. C.S.T. Members are asked to bring their favorite baked goods to the clubhouse prior to 9:00 a.m. Winners of the Association raffle will be selected after the sale. The prizes include four winners who will receive SIOO.OO, two $50.00 winners, and a $25.00 winner. WALKERTON ELEMENTARY PTA TO MEET TUESDAY The Walkerton Elementary P.T.A. will meet on Tuesday, November 13, at the school library at 7:00 p.m. The guest speaker for the evening will be Mrs. Lois Clark and her talk is entitled “Head Start. A Family Affair". Plan to attend, be a concerned parent. Be counted and the class with the most parents present will receive a special award. Also the Fall Festival drawing will be held at the close of the meeting. OREGON SENIOR CITIZENS TO MEET NOVEMBER 15 The Senior Citizens Gub, of Koontz Lake, will hold their regular meeting on Thursday, November 15, at 12:30 p.m. C.S.T., at the Conservation Club. Basketball Season Tickets On Sale At Glenn Varsity boys basketball tickets are now on sale at the John Glenn High School office at a cost of $12.00 for adults and $9.00 for students. Tickets can also be purchased at the first home basketball game against South Central on Friday. November 16. NOTICE TO NORTH LIBERTY MERCHANTS, ORGANIZATIONS AND INTERESTED RESIDENTS The Holiday Season is fast approaching and it will soon be time to put up the street decorations. So, the time is also here to ask for your donations to help cover the costs of the new decorations. We have purchased four more new pole decorations and will be needing at least SI.OOO to cover the cost of the new decorations. Anyone wishing to support your Decorating Fund may do so, by making a donation at the Community State Bank. Please make your check payable to the North Liberty Decorating Fund. Thank you. The North Liberty Deceorating Committee CUB SCOUTS TO HOLD A PAPER DRIVE IN WALKERTON The Cub Scout Pack 293, Walkerton. will hold a Paper Drive November 14 through 17. A paper bin will be available for area residents to place their unwanted newspapers in. Newspapers only please, we can’t take magazines. Newspapers may be tied in bundles or placed in paper sacks. On Saturday, November 17. the Cub Scouts will be collecting newspapers door to door. If you have newspapers would you kindly stack the papers where we can pick them up without bothering you on Saturday morning. November 17.
