Praine in 1981. Knox was second with 61 points; LaVille, third with 69 points; New Prairie, fourth with 92; and Triton, fifth with 112 points. Jeff Ransbottom w as the individual conference champ as he won the race in 17:16. Eric Pentecost was second in 17:26; Kraig Perkins, third in 17:33; David Hille, fourth in 17:38; and David Fugate, seventh, in 17:56. Eric Snell placed 18th and Rick Dillon was 20th. On Friday evening the team came one point short of w inning the Sectional and beating the 12th
ranked team in the state. Michigan City Elston. Elston won the sectional with 44 points to Glenn’s 45. Oregon-Davis was third with 71 points. Jeff Ransbottom was again the top finisher for Glenn placing third overall in 16:55. Eric Pentecost was fifth in 17:01; Kraig Perkins, ninth in 17; 10; David Hille was 11th in 17:16; and David Fugate, 17th in 17:39. Keith Clark was 31st and Rick Dillon 34th. The team will be competing at the South Bend Regional this Friday. at Erkskine Golf Course. Race time is approximately 6:00 p.m. The top four teams at the regional will advance to the LaPorte semistate the follow ing weekend. Good luck. Falcons! GROVERTOWN CONSERVATION CLUB MEETS At the regular meeting of the Grovertown Conservation Club, held on Sunday, October 14. there were 30 members and 10 children on hand for the carry-in dinner and meeting. Following the meal the meeting was called to order by the president. John Taylor. A report was given by the committee on the wheel chair ramp and it was stated that the ramp was almost complete except for the approach which should be done this week. Discussion was held on the New Year's Eve party and preparations were made for the upcoming Fish Fry on October 26, at the clubhouse.
