The 7th grade lost to a fundamentally strong team in two games. 15-11 aznd 15-9. Top scorers for the Falcons were Angie Mlekodaj and Chern Sheler. The Bth grade defeated South Central in two games 15-4 and 15-6. The Falcons traveled to Argos Thursday. The first game in the 7th grade match was dominated by Argos who won 15-2. The Falcons came back to dominate game 2, winning 15-3. behind the serving of Julie Kominkiewicz. Game 3 was a thrilling one and a heartbreaker to lose, but Argos came out on top 15-13. The Bth grade easily defeated Argos in two games as they played solid fundamental volleyball. The scores were 15-4 and 15-13. The Falcons also hosted LaVille Monday and came away with two victories. The entire 7th grade Falcon team served 80% or higher accuracy to lead North Liberty to victories of 15-3 and 15-5 Angie Mlekodaj was 11 for 11. Julie Kominkiewicz was 9 for 9 and Tricia Zellers 15 for 16. scoring a total of 14 points in both games. The Bth grade's victory over LaVille was a little more difficult, as they came against the tourney champs from the weekend before. The first game was easily won 15 3 as the girls played solid ball, in the second game the girls lost their composure and were defeated 15-7. The last game was a thriller, with the Falcons finally settling down and winning 15-9 The Falcons are well on their way to becoming a very solid, fundamentally strong volleyball team. The last game of the season will be against Plymouth at home Wednesday, October 24. The first city to be illuminated by gas lights was Baltimore, in 1817. .
