They were attired in rosette colored floor length taffeta gowns and carried bouquets of lilies, roses and baby’s breath. Laurie Beverly, Merrillville, sister of the bride, was flower girl. Serving as best man was Thomas Gibson, of Toledo, Ohio. Groomsmen were Russell Stooks, brother of the groom, Walkerton; Allen Stooks, brother of the groom, Casa Grande, Arizona; Robert Stephenson, of Paoli; Scott Doll, of Valparaiso; Line Konkle, of Manhattan, Kansas; and Eric Deller, of Palo Alto, California. Ringbearer was Daniel Lindquist, nephew of the groom, of Phoenix, Arizona. A reception followed with dinner and dancing at Villa du Bruno, in Lynwood, Illinois. The groom is a graduate of John Glenn High School, Walkerton and a graduate Phi Beta Kappa and Cum Laude from Indiana University with a Bachelor in English and an outside field in business, in 1982. He obtained his Masters degree in playwriting from UCLA in 1984. He is a professional playwright. The couple reside in South Bend after a trip to Paradise Island in the Bahamas. I wish to thank my relatives from South Chicago, the neighbors from Koontz Lake for the visits while I was in the hospital. Also everyone । for their prayers, cards, flowers I and gifts. SERVICE NOTES July 16 (FHTNC) — Navy Airman Michael J. Moorhouse, son of Maureen L. Moorhouse, of Route 4, Walkerton, recently returned from a five-month deployment to the Indian Ocean and the North Arabian Sea. He is a member of Tactical Electronic Warfare Squadron 136, embarked aboard the aircraft carrier USS Midway. More than half of the deployment was spent in the Arabian Sea near the Strait of Hormuz, ensuring that this vital sea line of communiction stayed open. While there, the squadron participated in several open ocean exercises with friendly and allied naval and air forces. On the trip home, the squadron visited the ports of Singapore; Pattaya, Thailand; and Subic Bay, Republic of the Philippines. Use our classified ads!
