Nyari surrendered the lead briefly to Leßoy Skiles when Skiles caught and passed Nyari in traffic. However, a caution flag came out and the standings reverted back to the last full completed lap, putting Nyari back in the lead. Nyari took advantage of the break and was never headed again. Finishing second through fifth were Tom Hamilton. Skiles, Dan Konieczny and Jack Moore. Nyari took the dash and heat races were won by Jim Swint and Bob Blount. Rodney Smith took advantage of Tom Davies motor problems as he passed Davies on lap 10 of the

Greg Shreve won the consi. Mike Shaffer took the lead on the first turn of the last lap to scoot past Scotti Linville to capture the coyote feature. Second through ! fifth were Linville, Kevin Papa, Jim Bishop and Richard Hershberger. Over 90 cars were on hand and the worst wreck came when Curtis ' Holt rolled over his car while practicing. He was okay. This Saturday will be Fun Night at New 1 Paris with super late models, road runners, coyotes and Powder Puff, plus Arf the Wonder Gown, and best looking car awards. Practice begins at 3:00, time trials at 6:30 with racing at 8:00 p.m. Gassifieds begin at $1.50.
PLAN WORK WEEKEND LaVille Elementary School P.T.O. is planning a work weekend to assemble playground equipment at the new school on August 11 and 12. Workers are needed to assemble as well as paint.
