Mr. and Mrs. Orville Klinedinst were Wednesday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Figolah, in Valparaiso. Sunday afternoon visitors of Mrs. Flossie Fitzgerald were Mrs. Pearl Wolff, of Walkerton, and Mr. and Mrs. Delbert LaCounte, of Three Rivers, Michigan. Mrs. Ethel Greene, of Joliet, Illinois, was a guest for several days of Mr. and Mrs. Oren Duthie, at Koontz Lake. Claude and Josephine Nowakowskie will be host for the Koontz Lake Conservation Club dinner Saturday evening. All members and their guests are welcome to come with your covered dish and enjoy a good meal and an hour of fellowship. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Huhnke and Mrs. Hazel Kaiser, of Three Oaks, Michigan, came home Thursday from a week’s visit with the ladies' sisters, in ElPaso, Illinois. Mrs. Alice Sheaks arrived home Thursday from San Diego, California, after having been away for nine months. On the trip home she stopped in Denver to visit relatives. Mrs. Bertha Urbin spent last Friday in Kewanna. At noon she had lunch with a group of friends after meeting several friends on the street in the morning.
