Constance Sue Clark and Harold Eugene Knowlton were united in marriage on Saturday, June 23, during a four o’clock in the afternoon candlelight, double-ring ceremony with Rev. Chester A. Mayflower officiating. The ceremony was held at the Walkerton United Methodist Church with Sherry Klinedinst, organist, and Mrs. Sharon Klinedinst as the soloist. The bride is the daughter of John and Doris Clark, 900 Illinois Street, Walkerton. The groom is the son of Harold and Pauline Knowlton, Rural Route 3, Box 255, Walkerton. The bride is a 1978 John Glenn High School graduate and she is a graduate of Indiana State University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education. She is currently employed by the South Bend Community School Corp, as a teacher for Project Head Start of St. Joseph County. The groom is a 1974 graduate of John Glenn High School and he attended Purdue University and IUSB. He is currently employed at A. M. General, South Bend. Out of town guests came from Illinois, Wisconsin, Virginia, Florida and Georgia. THE HERMAN HENRYS CLELBRATE 25TH ANNIVERSARY Mr. and Mrs. Herman Henry were the guests of honor at their 25th wedding anniversary open house held on Sunday, July 1. The reception was given by their children, Mr. and Mrs. Donn Kelver, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schortgen and Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Henry. Cake and punch were served to about 100 friends and relatives at the Tyner 1.0.0. F. Lodge. Guests were from Hamlet, Grovertown, Lakeville, Osceola, LaPorte, Plymouth, Walkerton and Cincinnati, Ohio. Mr. and Mrs. Marion E. Robison, Rural Route 3, Walkerton, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday, July 22, with an open house to be held at the Tracy United Methodist Church, on Highway 6, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. They request no gifts. Friends and relatives are invited to the open house hosted by their children, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Robison, Walkerton, and Barbara Talmadge, of Eva Beach, Hawaii. The former Doris Perkins and Mr. Robison were married on July 21, 1934, at Crown Point, Indiana, with Rev. Edward W. Strecker, officiating. Mr. and Mrs. Robison are retired farmers.
