Resolution: Following a motion by Mr. Millar and seconded by Mrs. Jean Ann Beem the Board unanimously voted to adopt a resolution naming Carol Beem as Corporation Treasurer as requested by Ist Source Bank. 4. Design-Manager Contract: The Board tabled action of a contract with Sollitt Construction Company, Inc. as design-manager until clarification of the fee structure is obtained by Dr. Smith. 5. Authorize Bid Advertisement: Following a motion by Mrs. Manuel and seconded by Mr. Ludwig the Board voted unanimously to advertise for bids on the Walkerton Elementary School roofing and air conditioning, and John Glenn High School art room air conditioning project.

Substitute Teacher Pay: Following a motion by Mr. Stull and seconded by Mr. Millar the Board voted unanimously to set teacher substitute pay at $31.50 per day for the 1984-85 school year. 2. John Glenn High School Construction Fund: The Board tabled action on the dispositioin of $4,359.83 that remains in the high school construction fund. Dr. Smith suggested that this may be applied to the art room air conditiining project at the high school. Determination will be made after bids are opened. 3. Office Printer: Dr. Smith noted that the Corporation office printer has worked much better since recent repairs. There being no further business to come before the Board, following a motion by Mr. Millar and seconded by Mr. Ludwig the Board unanimously agreed to adjourn at 9:30 p.m. The Board will meet on July 17, 1984 at 7:30 p.m. at North Liberty School with an executive session to discuss negotiations and 1985 budget preparation to follow the regular meeting. Potato Creek (continued from page 1) winner will take place at 10:30 a.m. The North Liberty Firemen will host an invitational Water Ball competition on the Liberty School street Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Entertainment on Saturday afternoon and evening taking place on the giant stage on the bank lot will feature “Family Tradition" from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. This is another musical group recently featured at the Firefly Bluegrass concert. “The Great Swami", Ellis Swihart, a great hit in 1983, will again mesmerize the crowds on the bank lot. Closing out the two-day festival will be “Family Affair", the Futa family polka band, from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. For visiting gourmets, the North Liberty United Methodist Church will be offering their homemade ice cream, sandwiches, pie and cake on Friday and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on the church parking lot. The Beaver Creek Wesleyan Church will have a fish
fry on Friday from 5:00 to 8.00 p.m. in the fire station. The Eastern Star of North Liberty will serve homemade potato soup Friday and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. in front of the Masonic Temple. The American Legion will serve breakfast on Saturday from 7:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the Legion building. The John Glenn High School Band Boosters will have a chicken barbecue from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the fire station. There will be approximately 80 booths selling arts and crafts, home-baked goods, antiques, ceramics, homemade items, garden produce, plus much more in the one hundred block of North Main Street, which will be closed to vehicular traffic these two days. Special bargains will be inside all North Liberty stores both days. There is also dining at the North Liberty restaurants and at the Greene Township Lions diner. With a sharp knife slice each breast leaving about a Vi inch hinge. Open each breast to insert a slice of cooked brisket and top each with a slice of Gouda cheese Sprinkle a Vi packet of Herb-Ox Low Sodium Chicken-Flavored Instant Broth and Seasoning into each breast. Fold each breast and sprinkle the rest of the packet all over them. Next, sprinkle pepper over the breasts. Prepare a broth by dissolving the other packet of Herb-Ox Low Sodium Chicken-Flavored Instant Broth and Seasoning in 1 cup of boiling water and pour into a saucepan. Add the mushrooms to the boiling broth, lower heat to a slow simmer and add the tomato paste, stirring while cooking. Cook for 4 minutes, or until sauce liquid is reduced by one-fourth. Coat a casserole dish with the melted butter or margarine, place each breast onto the casserole pan and pour the sauce over the chicken. Put the pan into a 375° oven to bake 25-30 minutes. Serve breasts with the sauce.
