Zane Hathaway Ends High School Basketball Career ijßHi Zane Hathaway, son of Laura Hathaway. Rural Route 1. Walkerton. finished his high school basketball career at Jefferson High School, Rockford, Illinois, where he makes his home with his brother. Darold. Zane, a five foot. 11' 2 inch point guard, attended national B C (amp last summer; his teams finished in first place at the camp. He was named to the large schixifs all-conference team as an outstanding point guard. The team is selected bx the league's 10 head

Walkerton, where he attended his first six sears. He aver- ! aged 1 ".5 points and six assists and I shot 4b percent and 68 percent. He will be plaving in the All-Star game in June. Curt Pletcher Passes CPA Exam Recently Curt W. Pletcher, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Pletcher, of Walkerton, was among 294 individuals who

successfully completed the Certified Public Accountant examination held recently in Indianapolis. Pletcher is a graduate of John Glenn High School and received his BS degree from Indiana Uni sersits at South Bend. He is an accountant with Panel-Craft. Inc., in Pls mouth, w here he resides. Ihe Uniform CPA Examination requires participants to shoxx competence in auditing, business law. theors and practice. Graduates of the course are trained to assist dental officers in all phases of denture construction.
