MRS. SARAH BEAM Mrs. Sarah Hill Daley Beam. 82. of Rural Route 1. Box 3. Knox, passed away at 2:20 p.m. on Monday. April 18. at Porter Memorial Hospital. Valparaiso, after a two month illness. She was born on December 29, 1900, at Tyner. She was first married in 1918 to John William Daley, who preceded her in death in 1942. She then married in 1942 to Albert L. Beam, who preceded her in death in 1974. Surviving arc seven children: Mrs. Margaret Katsianis. of Rolling Prairie; Mrs. Robert Cusack, of Oak Lawn, Illinois; Alison Beam Hindman, of Valparaiso; James and Peter Daley, both of Koontz Lake; C. Thomas Daley, of Columbus. Ohio; and Bradley Daley, of Kingman, Arizona; 18 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two sisters. She was married to Murry Woodard. who preceded her in death. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Pierce, Arkport. New York, and Mrs. Althea Biase, New York City; four grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and two nieces. Services were in Hornell, New York and Burial in the Arkport Cemetery. New York. ANDREW R. FEJES Andrew R. Fejes, 78, of 908 Roosevelt Road. Walkerton, passed away at 12:25 a.m. on Thursday. April 21, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend, after a lengthy illness. He was born on March 3. 1905. in Pennsylvania and lived in the Walkerton area for the past 33 years, coming from Pennsylvania. He married Willowdean (Dede) Krick, on May 30. 1950. who survives. He was a retired trucker and a veteran of World War 11. Surviving along with his wife is a daughter, Mrs. Bessie A. Alberts, of Pennsylvania; a son, Robert Fejes. of Florida; a stepdaughter, Ms. Dianna DeArmond, of Owensboro. Kentucky; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Private services were held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Nus-baum-Elkin Funeral Home. Walkerton, with Rev. Chester Mayflower, pastor of the Walkerton United Methoidst Church, officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Walkerton. DOROTHY M. MANGUS Mrs. Dorothy M. Mangus, 70. of Kokomo, formerly of North Liberty, passed away at 10:45 a.m. on Friday in her residence after suffering an apparent stroke. She was born on September 30. 1912, in North Liberty and had lived in North Liberty until five years ago when she moved to Kokomo. She married Paul Mangus, who preceded her in death on November 21. 1978. She taught in the Lakeville. Greene Township and North Liberty Schools for 32 years, retiring in 1975. Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Randall Yoder, of Kokomo; and two grandchildren. Services were held at 10:00 a.m.
on Monday in the North Liberty Church of the Brethren, with Rev Ammon P. Wenger, former pastor, officiating. Burial was in Eastlaw n Cemetery. North Liberty. She was a member of the North Liberty Church of the Brethren and memorial contributions may be made to the Heifer Project. MRS. DONNA L. COSTELLO Mrs. Donna L. Costello, 38. of Bremen, died at 9:35 a.m. on Saturday. April 23. from injuries from a one-car accident on the Ply-mouth-Goshen Road, near Bremen, after the car she was driving left the road for some unknown reason and crossed a ditch, hitting en , embankment. She was a Spanish teacher at John Glenn High School. ( Services were held at 10:00 am. on Wednesday at Christ The King Catholic Church. South Bend, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend. t MRS. DALE WORTHINGTON Mrs. Ida (Dale) E. Worthington, । 73. of 23575 Liberty Highway, died early Monday morning, April 25. in Osteopathic Hospital, South Bend. She was born on November 5. 1909, in St. Joseph County, where she lived her lifetime. On September 5. 1931, in St. Joseph County, she marring Dale R. Worthington. He survives along with three daughters. Mrs. John (Gloria) Kurzhal, of South Bend. Mrs. William (Illa Dail) Kurzhal, of North Liberty, and Mrs. Paul (Bonnie) Brattain, of Atlanta. Georgia; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchild-ren; three sisters, Mrs. Alice Wilson. of Mill Creek. Mrs. Dora Lichtenbarger. of South Bend, and Mrs. Maggie Milliken, of Phoenix. Arizona; and a brother. Howard Miller, of North Liberty. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Haverstock Funeral Home Chapel. LaPorte. with Brother M. Joseph LaVine.
