NORTH LIBERTY KINDERGARTEN ROUND-UP SET The North Liberty School will have a kindergarten/Parent Orientation Program on April 12. at 7:00 p.m., in the North Liberty cafeteria. It is very important that all parents of children who will be five (5) on or before August 31. attend. The sch<x»l asks the children not attend this meeting. During the orientation night parents will: Complete registration forms and birth certificates checked; Sign up for a kindergarten screening time (screening will be April 20 by appointment only); Be given dental and health forms; Give a preference for morning or afternoon kindergarten sessions; Be given a kindergarten handbook; Be given an explanation of the pre-kindergarten and kindergarten programs and information concerning the screening on April 20. To be eligible for kindergarten, the child must be five (5) years old on or before August 31. A legal birth certificate is required (not a hospital certificate). The birth certificate may be obtained by contacting the Health Department in the county in which the child was born.
