Mr and Mrs. Harold Weller visited with Mr. and Mrs. William Barden and daughter on Sunday afternoon, in Merrillville. Mr. and Mrs. DeWavne Bases returned home on Fridas from a two-week vacation on a C aribbean cruise aboard the Norwegian ship, "Southworth". After returning to the states they visited the Epcoc Center at Disney World. Orlando. Florida, which they found vers interesting. The trip was different but vers exciting and the weather in Florida ssas not so great. Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Dwain Whitmer and sons. Mr. and Mrs. John Solmos have returned home on Saturdas after spending two months in Orlando. Florida. On their return trip they visited with Mr. and Mrs Burgoone Carnes, in Rockingham. North Carolina, and they also stopped in Noblesville. Indiana, to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Larry McDaniel and daughter. A group of 10 people went to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Lowry on Saturday night following the basketball game for a social time. Mr and Mrs Herald Hostetler spent the weekend at Spirit Lake. lowa, with Mr. and Mrs. Pat McNorton and daughters. Mrs. Dorothy Meyers was adnutted to the LaPorte Hospital on Saturday. She had been a surgical
patient in Memorial Hospital some weeks ago for triple by-pass surgerv and complications have caused her to be admitted again to a hospital. Mrs. Alta Williams spent the past two weeks in Crown Point visiting with her sister. Mrs. Martha Han and another sister who was there from Florida. The ladies really enjoyed their visit. Mr. Lyle Rensberger is a patient in St. Joseph Hospital, Fort Wayne and is in the intensive care unit and would enjoy hearing form his former Walkerton friends and classmates. March 4. instead of our regular meeting.
