After enjoying a delicious carry-in dinner, William Arick. new Cubmaster, opened the meeting with the introduction of honored guests, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Jones and family and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Clark Mr. Clark was a past ( übmaster, as well as one of the founders of Pack 241 Candlelighting w as conducted by Webelos from Dens 1 and 3. Den 2 opened b\ reciting the "Law Os I he Pack". Mrs. Arick translated to us what ( ÜBS stood for. C is for curtious; U is tor unity; B is for braven; and S is for service. A total of 73 attended the banquet with Dens 2 and 5 tieing w ith the high number of 23 each. Awards were as follows: I hose receiving wolf badges were Matthew Arick, James Karst and Kevin Stedman. Gold Arrow s went to Kevin Stedman.

Bear badges were presented to John Camblin, Michael Daugherty, Timothy McCormick. James Peterson. Thomas Peterson and Stephen Wasio. Webelos badges went to Michael Beghtel, David Brook. Douglas Lambert. William Lappin, Thomas McCormick and Chris Stedman. Webelos activity pins were presented as follows: Mike Beghtel. athlete, artist and sportsman; Eugene Clingenpeel. aquanaut, outdoorsman, scholar and traveler; Steve Foresman. athlete and sportsman; Eric Springman, artist and athlete; and Chris Stedman, artist. Scout Week window awards went to Den 5 for first place and Den 2 for second place. A play. "Little Red Riding H(x>d" was performed by scout fathers Thomas Daugherty. William Lappin, David Craft and John Camblin. Mr. Arick then presented each scout with a scarf-slide made of sea shells which were gifts from the past packmaster. Mr. James Johnson. The meeting was closed by Den 4 who called all scouts together for the "Living Circle" WRESTLERS CHALK UP #5 The LaVillc Lancer wrestling team became the fifth victim of the fighting Falcons from Urey/North Liberty. The visiting Falcons, now 5-0, were led by David Searfoss. Scott Ray, David Rupel, Nick South. Melvin Gee. Gary Whitaker and Howard Smith. Other winners were Billy Nichols. Troy Petry. Denns Sctnor, Jeff Roberts. Ed Traversa and John Marek. The Middle School wrestlers travel to Oregon-Davis on Thursday. March 3, at 4:30 p.m . for a meet.
