The birthdays of Roger Kronk and Dorothy Kronk were celebrated on Sundax with a dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs Calvin Kronk Other guests were Mr. LaMarr Kronk. Tim and La Dora; Mrs. LaMarr Kronk and Led: and Mr and Mrs David Rose, of South Bend. Mrs. George Meyers, Walkerton. is in Memorial Hospital. South Bend, where she underwent triple by-pass surgen last Thursday and a pacemaker was also put in. She is reported as doing excellent and is out of the intensive care and in room '25. as of Monday. Mrs. Ruth Brant returned home on Saturday from a month stay in Tempe. Arizona. Sundax she had as guests for dinner. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Wiegand and family. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Low ry and son and

Walkerton, spent the weekend in Chillicothe. Illinois, with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Martin and family. Saturday the two Martin brothers. Don and Charles, participated in the annual Brothers Bowling Tourney, at Peoria. Illinois. Mr. and Mrs Robert Schaeffer were in Indianapolis on Sunday to attend the photographs show held at the Sheraton Hotel.

Mrs. Jerry Hahn and Michael, of Oceanside, California, are here xisiting with relatives and friends. Mr. Hahn is in the U. S. Marines and is based near Oceanside.
