It was great lo sec the seniors taking an interest in a little exercise and fun in bowling at the New Walkerton Lancs, on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. Andy Anderson won the handicap game with a 2 7 0. scratch game of 244. and series of 618. The tables were decorated with Valentines and the committee for the day was Mamie Hahn and Regina Wells. Mary Hahn helped since Mrs. Wells was ill. The meeting opened with the salute to the flag and the repeating of the club creed. The song of the month. "Let Me Call You Sweetheart", and "Love Makes The World Go Round”, were sung with Helen Pogodzinski leading the singing and Lois Shetland at the piano. Roll call was answered with something you wish you would like to invent. Twenty members answered with Mary Hahn as our guest. The nominating committee gave their report. Bertha Daube gave us some pointers on the right and wrong way to lift things from the floor. Ann Jackson read an interesting article on two of our former presidents. Abraham Lincoln and J. F. Kennedy. Loretta Kearcher gave a book report on "The Black Stallion and it was very good. The meeting was turned over to the hostesses who served a delicious lunch. Bingo was played with many winning prizes. There will be cancer sewing on Wednesday. February 9. The committee for the March
meeting will be Helen Pogodzinski. Weltha Burnside and Loretta Kaercher. The meeting closed with the repeating of the club collect.
