Jimtown Is 12th Victim Os Falcons The John Glenn f alcons had little trouble in running to their 12th stragith victors of the season Fridas night as the) traveled to Jimtown and returned home with a ~3-4" Northern State Conference victors os er the winless Jimmies. The wm was the third in conference plas for Glenn this sear and keeps them at the top of the conference standings with Knox. I.aVille and Culver vet to plas . T he Falcons jumped ahead in the first quarter and maintained the lead the entire game even though thes were really unable to pull ass as from the Jimmies until later in the second half. The game did give coach Gordon Mosson plenty of opportunits to use all his varsity players and thes all responded by sharing in the point total. The two

Brett Gouker led the Falcons scoring with 17 points, hitting five field goals, seven of seven from the tree line, rebounded seven times, stole the ball three times and passed for three assists. Mark Cain scored 15 points, hitting on five field goals. Greg Dreessen blocked three shots and Damon Groves had three steals and three assists. Darren Skiles hit one of one from the field and two of two from the free line and Ron Clemons was one of one from the field and four of four from the line for a perfect night of shooting. The Falcons opened the game
with full court pressure on defense, making Jimtown turn the ball over. The Falcons capitalized on the situation building a good margin that w as never relinquished. Jimtown was led by Davis with 12 points and three steals, she Falcons record is 7-3 and Jimtown stands at 1 -8. Even though the present temperature is more dcsireable than in the past at this time of the year, we still can “Think Spring" until these familiar flowers arc offered to the public. The poppy as the memorial flower for American war dead is a tradition which began in the years following the first World War.
