Mr. and Mrs. Carl Stanley were in Villa Park, Illinois, one day last week to visit Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Black. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Moravek will serve as hosts for the Koontz Lake Conservation Club dinner Saturday evening. Mrs. Margaret Cox, of Fort Richey, Florida, spent 10 days here with her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Awald. Mrs. Cox will return for a few days after visiting relatives in other states. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Weller, of Rock Fall, lowa, have been visiting here with his mother, Mrs. Fern \nderson, and other relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Pete Dunn were Sunday afternoon and evening visitors with his mother, Mrs. Fayette Dunn. Mr. and Mrs. Herman Henry, of lavares, Florida, are spending the summer months at Koontz Lake, fishing, golfing, visiting and reports are that Herman has pulled some beautiful fish in with that fishing rod and tackle and patience. Haug, Steve and Jerry, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Haug, of Donaldson, Mr. and Mrs. Terry Dipert and son, New Tracy, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Dipert and son, Walkerton, Leon Dipert, LaPorte, Judy Dipert, Melvin Dipert and son Danny. Last week Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Dipert, Judy and Tom Haug returned from a six day vacation to Mackinac Island, where they enjoyed a boat ride, Sault Ste. Marie, they had a train ride, and came home through Wisconsin where they visited relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Hostetter were Monday evening dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Beagles. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Taylor entertained at their home last week with a cook out in honor of their daughter, Vickie, who was home from New York. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Paul Richey, Walkerton; Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Vanwart, Michigan City; Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Rice and Miss Betty Sethwood. of South Bend; Mr. Stuart Eloch. Mrs. James Morrey has been visiting with in Chicago and will be visiting with her sister in Valparaiso for a couple of days before returning to Koontz Lake where she is making her home with Mrs. Lucille Dickson while in Indiana. Bart Clark, 16, has been taken out of the intensive care unit of St. Joseph Medical Center, South Bend, where he was taken following a motorcycle accident in LaPorte a couple of weeks ago. Visitors of Marie Stahly on Saturday was a nephew, Mr. and Mrs, Art Miller, of Kokomo. On Sunday Mrs. Alice Luntz, of Lansing, Michigan, and Mrs. Francic Baurgeais and Claudia, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, were here to visit with their aunt, Mrs. Stahly. Wednesday visitors were a nephew, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Weigh, of Atlanta, Georgia, and Duane Stahly, of South Bend, visited with his mother. John Goodpasture. Koontz Lake. This week Douglas has been spending his time at a golf and tennis camp at Purdue University. Miss Beth Ann Griffith and Miss Dawn Stoks, of Indianapolis, are spending the week here at the lake with Rev. Goodpasture. Mr. and Mrs. Leigh Roy Hahn, Jr., and family, of English Lake; Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hahn and family, of Plymouth; and Mr. and Mrs. Leigh Roy Hahn, Sr., and family spent the weekend camping at the new campgrounds built southeast of Koontz Lake on Old 30. AA Campgrounds is a good place to spend a quiet weekend. Mr. and Mrs. William Engleman, of Altoona, Florida, were in town Tuesday calling on friends and former neighbors. They also visited with friends in LaPorte while in the area.

TWO GLENN STUDENTS ATTEND WORKSHOP Derrick Adkins and Minday Floesinzer, students at John Glenn High School, attended the high school journalists workshops held at Ball State University recently. The 17th annual workshop had over 300 newspaper and photography students from 16 states attending the week long session. Classes, lectures, lab sessions and individual instruction covering all aspects of producing quality scholastic publications was held. CLASS OF 1972 REUNION The 1972 graduated class of John Glenn High School will hold their 10th anniversary reunion at the Holiday Inn, Plymouth, on Saturday. July 24. There will be a cocktail hour beginning at 6:00 p.m. with dinner following at 7:00 p.m. Anyone that has not sent in their reservations and would like to attend, please contact Steve Wiktorowski, phone (219) 534-1876 as soon as possible.
