Mr. and Mrs. Oren Duthie, of Koontz Lake, spent a couple of days last week in St. Joseph, Michigan, visiting with their son, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Duthie and family. Mrs. Wilbur Andrews, of Bancroft, Michigan, visited here with her daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Murphy and other members of her family as well as friends last week. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Wisler, of Hamlet, and Mr. and Mrs. Dale Ullery attended the Flickinger Reunion held on Sunday at Nappanee. Mr. and Mrs. David Solmos, of Indianapolis, were weekend visitors with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Solmos. boating were enjoyed. Mrs. James Morrey returned to Koontz Lake on Tuesday of this week after spending a week in South Bend with her daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Don Apt and son. Mrs. Charles Martin came home on Saturday night from a three week vacation spent in Lewisville, Texas, with her daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Duane Rhodes and daughter. Mrs. Alice Barney spent three days in South Bend recently with her daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Woodfill. Mrs. Stanley Wolfe and son, Rick, of Indianapolis, were in Walkerton on Sunday to visit with Mrs. Glenn Walz and Dr. V. B. Wolfe. Also visiting was Mrs. Susan Hering, of California. Sun City, Florida, Mr. and Mrs. Eber Burch, of New Carlisle; Mrs. Zoa Brown, of Crumstown; Mrs. Ila Lute; Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Burch and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Burch enjoyed a luncheon at the Plymouth Holiday Inn on Wednesday, June 23. Mrs. Betty Clark and Mr. Robert Keckley arrived from Chula Vista, California, on June 19 and attended the Hiler Hog Roast. They are house guests of Mrs. June Baker. While here they have been entertained by Mr. and Mrs. Paul Guard, Mrs. Betty Baker. Mrs. Alma Daube and Mr. and Mrs. Francis McMahon, all of Walkerton. Friday evening they enjoyed a cook-out at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Engle and daughters, in South Bend. They will be leaving for Rhode Island on June 29 and then to Scotland for a golf outing and will return to Walkerton on July 19 for a few days before returning to California. Recent weekend visitors of Clarence and Ruth Wilson, of Koontz Lake, were their daughter. Mrs. Jacqueline Jordan, of Mokena. Illinois. and her friend, Mrs. Lindsay Majer. of Homewood, Illinois. Also, Mrs. Myrtle Klein and her son. John, daughter-in-law, Carol and their two-year old son, John Paul, all of Evergreen Park, Illinois. Myrtle Klein is a sister of Ruth. A delightful, pleasant and interesting weekend was had by all. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Gerber were Saturday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Jones, of Sweetser, Indiana. Robert Gerber, of Muncie. Miss Laura Jones, of Taylor University, were also guests. Mr. Jack Kellogg, of Palm Springs. California, was here visiting with his mother who is a patient at the Osteopathic Hospital. South Bend.
