Her fiance is a graduate of Brebeuf Preparatory School in Indianapolis and Indiana University, where he was affiliated with Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. He is also a graduate of the Indiana University School of Medicine and is a resident in internal medicine at Bronson and Borgess Hospital, Kalamazoo. RUBY MAY CRUM Ruby May Crum. 80. of 1435 N. Michigan Street. Plymouth, passed awa> at 1:10 a.m. on Thursday. June 10. at Parkview Hospital. Plymouth. after a brief illness. She was born on June 20. 190], at Scottsburg to W. O. and Clara Kensey Ham. She married ChaL mer J. Crum on April 29. 1937, who survives. Surviving along with her hus band are two sons. Robert Kammerer. Oelwein, lowa, and William Kammerer, of North Liberty; one brother, Clarence Ham. Plymouth; three sisters. Pearl Robb. Dowagiac. Michigan. Opal Brumbaugh, Plymouth, and Lissie Moore. Plymouth; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son. Jim. Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at Gettingsville Cemetery. The first Arbor day celebration was held on April 10, 1872 in Nebraska.
