Mr. and Mrs. A. .1 Kennedy came home last week alter spending (hristmas in Indianapolis with their daughter and family. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Su 111 \ an. The Brass l ion Christmas party for employees and their guests was a very nice occasion with a delicious steak dinner at Mama Mia’s Restaurant. Mrs. I ugene Knight had a Christmas party in her home last week for the following guests: Mrs Harrs Smith, Mrs. Helen Smith. Mrs. (Jeorge Behnke, Mrs. Ruth Johnson, Mrs. Rita Stewart. Mrs. John Matousek and Mrs. Bertha Urbin. The home was decorated for Christmas and the table was beautiful with unique decorations and Tilled with ( hristmas goodies. After the luncheon the guests cn joyed the afternoon placing bridge with every guest taking home a prize. Richard and Rodnev Smith were ( hristmas holiday guests last week at Koontz lake of their grandpar mother. Mrs. Helen Smith. Mrs. Vee Shogren came home Saturday from a two week visit in Pecatonica. Illinois, with her daughter and family, Mr and Mrs. Larry Larson Mr I on n lones returned I ridav night from a week's visit with his sister. Bcttv. in San Diego, (all fornia Mr and Mrs Roman Brehm and Mrs. Helen Kaleth will be hosts Saturday evening for the Koontz Lake Conservation Club dinner After two weeks of no meetings a good attendance is expected. Mr and Mrs Richard Kormlink. of Auburn, Michigan, were week end visitors last week of Mr and Mrs. Walter Johnson for their ( hristmas party on Saturday after ( hristmas, which was at the home of the John Johnsons, Walkerton, with Mr. and Mrs Walls Johnson and family, of Peru, joining the group for the Saturday dinner Mr. anil Mrs. Kenneth Brown, of Raytown. Maryland, were here visiting with her parents. Mr and Mrs Harold (raw ford, Koontz Lake, for the holidays. Mr and Mrs. David Benjamin. Cameron. Jared and Holly ( lark, of Olathca, Kansas, spent the holi davs here in the area with family and friends.
