LaPorte 6 13 28 36 Glenn Wins First 44-32 On Monday night the girls hosted South Central and won their first contest of the year bv a 44-32 score. After falling behind 10-7 in the first quarter. Julie Knowlton. Barb Peacock and Beth Kersh picked up all lb of the Glenn second quarter points while the visitors were getting only four and Glenn took a lead they never lost. It was 23 14 at halftime and a very good third quarter again held the South Central girls to only four points as the Lady Falcons moved to a 32-18 lead and coasted home for the 12 point margin of victory. Peacock was the leading scorer with her third straight 12 point effort but she had great balanced help as Knowlton and Kersh each had nine and Vicsik and Stull chipped in with ’six each.
