Notes From Miller’s Merry Manor By Florence Peek Our bazaar on December 4 was a success. We thank all of you who came over to see our crafts and made purchases as well as to those who donated baked gixxis and other items. We thank our retired KN Martha Clingcnpeel for conducting a baking group and making things we could sell at the bazaar. We appreciate the assistance of Eleanor Knight. Lorraine Pointon. Anna Roberson and the two sisters of M\rna Stull. Pat Whitaker and Norma Corbett, for assisting Mary Jo. We offer best wishes to Cathy Groves on her recent engagement and the wearing of a sparkler. The fortunate swain is Mark Lybarger. We are glad to report that Emma Bunch. Ruby Gorsline and Pam Savior have returned from the hospital. After many years of waiting we have a new beauty shop in the nx>m formerly used as the nurses lounge. We are glad for Shirley McMahon. Sometime ago I wrote that a ' Dumbell Poem” of Rosalie Hefner's. had been accepted by the Ellery Queen monthly magazine and it will be published in the April I MM2 edition.
