Poetry selections were given by Yerda Karn, president, and Ruth Black. Rev. Donald B. King, Unitarian Church. gave a thoughtful message entering on "1 Need Christmas". Rev. King reminded the group that >ur hopes are greater than our tears and Christmas is an expression of hope when things are dark-

Gaily colored crocheted candles filled with Christmas candy have been delivered to the Four Seasons Health Center. Teegarden, to add to the residents holiday spirit. Charlotte Behnke, chairman, Marjory Curl and Clara Dixon, social service committee, were responsible for this project. The meeting closed with the singing of Christmas hymns and carols led by Mildred Casey and accompanied by Jane Keefe. Hostesses for this enjoyable Christmas party were Pauline Stanley, chairman. Wht *} n i Mg) frA * : I -■'‘-'j liW vl - i ‘ 1 -1 Phyllis Ramsbey and Mary Swihart, in foreground, and members of the Star Neighborhood Home Extension Club pack cans of cookies for the St. Joseph County Mental Health Association, at their last meeting held at the home of Mrs. Jean Brodzinski. There were a total of 740 cans packed by members of the Extension Homemakers of St. Joseph County. A total of 635 cans were taken to patients at Logansport Hospital and the remainder will be given to local nursing homes and the Family Care Center.
