North Liberty Town Decoration Donors Listed Ihe North Liberty Decorating i ommittec would like to thank all he merchants and individuals who ave made contributions to the lecorating fund. The purpose of his fund was to purchase new deorations for the town. The goal lor this project was set at $2,500. As this goal has not yet been cached, the committee is asking tor futhrer support to reach the joal. They would greatly appreciite any contributions to help. Conributions can be made to the North I iberty Decorating Fund at the ( ommunity State Bank. The committee would also like to state that these baskets they have .nircahsed will be taken down and refilled with ferns and mums for the summer, to help brighten our little community. Because of this we will be using these decorations tor about seven months out of the ear. In the varsity contest, the Plymouth team jumped to a 19-11 first period lead and a very cold second quarter wrapped it up for the Pilgrims. A '2 4 advantage made it 31-15 by halftime and the Plymouth team moved on to the 66 36 victory. Lor Glenn, Julie Knowlton and Beth Kersh both hit in double figures with 12 and II points respectively. The winners had 12 from Splix and 10 from Wojick. but did manage to have all I I girls score in their balanced attack. For Glenn Michele Vicsik had nine re-

bounds to lead the way and Kim Kronk had three assists. The two teams records after this game were 1-2 for Plymouth and 0-2 for Glenn. Porter scored 12 for Liberty while Ernsberger and Magoeach had 6. For the Wildcat Drews scored 12. King 8. Pinckert and Spencer 6. Fansler led the team in rebounds and assists. The Walkerton sixth grade defeated the Shamrocks in what turned out to be a close finish as Scott scored 14 of his game high 22 points for North Liberty in the fourth quarter. The final was Walkerton 31 and North Liberty 28.
