Drug Aubse Program Set At J. G. High School An adult education program con erning drug abuse is scheduled lor Monday. December 14, at 7:30 p m. in the John Glenn High School auditorium. Ihe program is sponsored by local businessmen, the Polk-Lincoln-Johnson School Corporation. the Walkerton Police Department and H.E.L.P. (Help I ducate Loyal Parents) an organization sponsored by the International Narcotics Enforcement Officers Association. The program will be open to parents, businessmen. teachers, citizens of Walkerton. North Liberty. Tyner and surrounding areas. The program will be centered around educating adults to the current drug abuse in the communities. identification ot abused drugs and paraphenalia used to admin ister drugs. A question and answer pernxl will follow the presentation. CHRISTMAS CAROLING BY KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS ON DECEMBER 19 St. Patrick s Knights of Columbus Council 5707 will hold their annual Christmas carolling on Saturday. December 19. after 5:30 Mass at St. Patrick's Church. Walkerton. A Christmas party will follow the carolling at the home of Ben Rudecki Sandwiches and goodies will be served. All Knights and their families are invited. OPEN HOUSE CHRISTMAS PROGRAM AT NORTH LIBERTY The North Liberty School Art and Music departments will be sponsoring an Open House Christmas Program on Monday evening. December 14. from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. I his open house will display art work bv all the students currently enrolled in art. music or choir. Art work from grades kindergarten through nine will be displayed in the gymnasium from ":00 to 9:00 p.m. and work done by the music students, grades one through eight, will be displayed in the music room from 7:00 to 30 p m. The Open House will continue with a musical performance of all music students in grades kinder garten through sixth as well as the fourth and fifth grade choir and the sixth, seventh and eighth grade choir beginning at ’ 45 p m.
