Two contests were played with prizes tor being so observant going to Martha Mull and Donna Tenison. Other prizes went to Helen Kennedy, Mary Sester and Karen Johnson. AN CILLA TO HOLD BAZAAR THIS SUN DA Y The Ancilla Domini Sisters and \ncilla College students will be holding their annual bazaar from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. E.S.T. on Sunday. November 1. in the auditorium. Featured will be handmade craft and needlework items as well as a variety of articles in a “New To You Booth”. There will be the traditional “Cherry Tree" with chances to win prizes, the “Gum Pull", the Fish Pond", and "Cake Walk". Delicious chicken dinners will be served beginning at 12:00 noon. Homemade bread and doughnuts will be on sale. Apple dumplings and other goodies will be available. Booth space has been expanded and there are new attractions this vear. At 4:30 p.m. will be the drawing of the winners of the raffle. Lions Honor Members; Induct New Members Lhe Walkerton Lions Club met for their monthly meeting with the following members receiving chevrons. Anthony Letko and Donald King. 35 year member chevrons; Ray Chapman and Robert Urbin. 25 year member chevrons; Alvin Boise. 15 year member chevron; and Dale UHery. 10 year member chevron, lhe chevrons were presented by Zone Chairman. Carl Kaser. H. Douglas Lane. District Governor. made his official visit and inducted three new members. Melvin Chrapliwy, William Harness and Gordon H. Patrick. John Glenn football coach. John Hostrawser, reviewed the current season, the best in years, and discussed the possibility of the team reaching the playoffs. Bransion Hiatt, president, presided at the meeting which was held at the J&J Restaurant. 25th Anniversary To Be Observed At St. Patrick School St. Patrick School, Walkerton, will he celebrating it’s 25th anniversary with a polish style dinner on Saturday. Jr., was her assisting hostess. Fourteen members and one guest. Mrs. Etta Mae Milner, enjoyed the evening. We helped celebrate her birthday. Door prizes went to Mrs. Wilder Burnside and Mrs. Milner.
